Participants will explore the use of social media by educators. Discussion will include the impact of various online activities, both personally and professionally as it relates to the school setting. Legal implications of online activity, including FERPA will also be discussed. At the conclusion of the training, teachers can expect to have a broader understanding of responsible use of social media, minimizing the risk of misuse.
